Diabetes Information
- Under the new statute 70 O.S. § 1210.196, each school district’s board of education or charter school's governing board needs to make type 1 diabetes material accessible digitally or printed to parents or guardians when a student is initially enrolled in school and when a student enters sixth grade. The Oklahoma State Department of Education makes these materials available on the OSDE website for schools to utilize.
