Social Media Threat

Dear Paden Parents and Families,
We have been made aware of a social media post containing generic threats involving multiple school districts in our area, and Paden has now been included in that post.
Paden Schools will be in session today. However, out of an abundance of caution, we will begin the school day under a soft lockdown and will follow our established school safety protocols. Our School Resource Officer (SRO) has been notified and will be on campus.
Please know that the safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and work with law enforcement as appropriate.
If any changes to the school day or additional safety measures become necessary, we will communicate that information to our families as quickly as possible through ParentSquare.
